Thanks Anne, it's always a pleasure to hear from a completely unbiased fan!

(For those wondering why I get such great reviews from Anne - she's my very supportive mother-in-law.)

I am sympathetic to your plight. Last year, having taken my first trip to Valencia, I was little bowled over with the numerous flavors, types and styles of wines. I mean, who has ever heard of Fondillon unless you live in Valencia, or are complete and utter wine geek? That said, I am very interested to read about your discoveries and look forward to your slow and deliberate learning curve as you discern what agrees and disagrees with your palate. Because in the end, no matter how much knowledge we have tucked in our back pockets, the palate is the great equalizer among all of us. Again, it's great to have you with us Ivan!
