You’ll have to stay on the lookout to keep up with me! (Or you could just keep reading this blog as I shamelessly point out all of the writing that I’m doing around the internet.)
I’ve recently met a guy who’s putting together a very ambitious site that will map out every eating establishment in Valencia. He’s helping me bring Ivan In Valencia up to speed and I’m contributing some writing to his venture, Eat-In-Valencia.com.
To take a look at my first article there, just click here. It’s the first of three parts giving basic restaurant advice to people unfamiliar with eating out in Spain.
Thanks for reading!

As a communications consultant and content developer, Ivan often ruthlessly slashes text and barbarically truncates copy. This blog is a return to the primal side of the written word.
Ivan is still trying to figure out what he is doing in Valencia. Maybe this blog will help?
I’d say that the comment about not being asked if you’re enjoying your meal may be true for Valencia and other places but isn’t always true for other parts of Spain, most notably the north where there is, in my opinion, a slightly better idea of service and the enjoyment of the customer.
There are of course a great many differences in the kind of food offered in the various regions of Spain, in the types of tapas offered, whether they are free or not (they still are in Andalucía and Asturias, for example.
Not a criticism of the article, all this; just a couple of observations that came to mind.
